AWP gets underway in Washington, D.C.

If you are heading to the AWP Conference, stop by our table, H44 in the last room, to chat with students and faculty about TriQuarterly Online and our MA/MFA in Creative Writing programs. Enter our raffle for a pound of fair-trade Intelligentsia coffee, direct from Chicago, and check out some cool handouts.

Fellow student Nath Jones has arrived in Washington, DC and will be posting for the blog from the conference. She mentions tonight that she met the editorial staff of www.newpages.com, an invaluable resource for literary writers. Discussion ensued about another useful site, www.duotrope.com, which features a searchable database for literary magazines and submissions tracker. Both are worth exploring.

Much more news from the conference is on the way.
