Havazelet's work has appeared in Triquarterly, Ploughshares, The New York Times, DoubleTake, New England Review, The Southern Review and other journals. Two of his books have been New York Times Notables of the year, and he is winner of the Wallant Award and both the California and Oregon Books Awards for fiction. His work has been translated into seven languages.
