Studs Terkel digital archive

Maybe we're partial to Studs Terkel here because he's from Chicago, but we're super excited to hear that the Library of Congress and Chicago History Museum have signed a deal to produce an online archive of over 6,000 hours of the interviews he conducted for the Chicago radio station WFMT.  The project may take up to two years to digitize everything, but once it's finished you'll be able to hear all of Studs' interviews with what seems like every American from the 20th century.
