Last typewriter standing

Today the last known typewriter manufacturer in the world announced it is shutting its doors. The Mumbai company Godrej and Boyce, with about 200 mostly Arabic-language typewriters left in stock, sold 50,000 typewriters a year as recently as the 1990’s. Demand dwindled in the west some time earlier, leaving a market primarily for defense agencies, courts, and government offices.

What will happen to our old typewriters when ribbons are no longer manufactured, or old stocks are depleted and dried out?
