Advertising coming to an e-book near you

I guess we knew this was coming: the Wall Street Journal reports that marketers are making plans to stick ads inside e-books. The ads might be inserted between pages like magazines or added around the edges of e-book apps like banner-style web ads. It's the last frontier, and I suppose we can adapt. Our already highly-developed crap filters will just have to add another parameter to weed out pitches for vacation cruises while we read Moby Dick.
