Kathy Z. Price is the author of The Bourbon Street Musicians, (Houghton Mifflin,) which received a starred review from ALA Booklist and New York Times Book Review. She has a poetic-picture book forthcoming from Atheneum Books for Young Readers (Simon and Schuster, 2020). Her poetry is included in Rumpus, Chronogram, and Aloud: Voices from the Nuyorican Poet’s Café, (Henry Holt) and African Voices. Price is a recipient of a poetry fellowship from New York Foundation for the Arts, with residencies/fellowships from Community of Writers Squaw Valley, Fine Arts Work Center in Province town and Cave Canem.
