Jesse Goolsby

Jesse Goolsby is the author of the novel I'd Walk with My Friends If I Could Find Them (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), winner of the Florida Book Award and longlisted for the Center for Fiction's First Novel Prize. His fiction and essays have appeared widely, to include publications in Kenyon Review, Epoch, Narrative Magazine, Salon, The Literary Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, Florida Review, Booth, and the Best American series. He is the recipient of the Richard Bausch Fiction Prize, the John Gardner Memorial Award in Fiction, and fellowships from the Sewanee Writers' Conference and the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences. A US Air Force officer, he earned his PhD in English at Florida State University, and now lives in Colorado.
