Today is Bloomsday, the annual celebration of James Joyce’s Ulysses. Here are some literary samplings to mark the date:

• Publishers Weekly’s blog notes how technology has made the “greatest literary achievement of the 20^th century” accessible to commoners like us.

• Luna Park presents the original serialization of the novel by Margaret Anderson in her magazine The Little Review from 1918-1920, where it eventually met with censorship and seizure.
