Thomas Larson is the author, most recently, of The Saddest Music Ever Written: The Story of Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings" (Pegasus Books) and The Memoir and the Memoirist: Reading and Writing Personal Narrative (Swallow Press). He lives in San Diego, California, and, when the weather is good, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
