Jens Hesse

Born in Germany, Jens Hesse now works and lives in Antwerp, Belgium. His paintings have been exhibited in several galleries, including the Ponyhof Gallery in Brussels, the Musée d'Ixelles in Brussels, and Gallery Revolver in Düsseldorf. Graduating from Hanover University in Germany for art, design, and media, Hesse also has a background in fasion design. He received an award for "Best Collection in Experimentation and Research" at the Mittelmoda fashion competition in Grado, Italy in 2004. He went on to work as a designer for several brands, such as Wrangler and Esprit before becoming a full-time painter in 2009. www.jenshesse.com
