Garnett Kilberg Cohen

Garnett Kilberg Cohen has published two collections of short fiction, Lost Women, Banished Souls (University of Missouri Press) and How We Move the Air (Mayapple Press). A chapbook of her poetry, Passion Tour, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2005.  Her awards include the 2003 Lawrence Foundation Prize from Michigan Quarterly Review; the 2004 Crazyhorse National Fiction Prize; a Special Mention from the Pushcart Prize; and four awards from the Illinois Council of the Arts, including a fellowship.  Her writing has appeared in many publications, including American Fiction, Ontario Review, Descant, The Literary Review, Antioch Review, Other Voices, and RoanokeReview. The Review Editor of ACM and the Fiction Editor of Hotel Amerika, Garnett is a professor at Columbia College Chicago.
